At the heart of Gravitas Property Group are its two co-founders and directors Craig Mitchell and Alan King, with over 50 years of property construction and development experience between them.
Throughout that time they have started up 3 separate property and construction businesses, completed development projects exceeding £3 billion in value, won 27 industry awards, and have over 100 staff and contractors at work currently on various projects.

Craig Mitchell, PgDip, MCIOB
In addition to my work with Gravitas Property Group, I am the director of Gravitas Contracts and Gravitas Logistics and Planning, where I oversee operations and ensure the highest standards in project delivery. My professional journey includes notable contributions to:

ALAN KING – MSc, BEng (Hons), MAPM, AMCIBSE, MIET
As a serial entrepreneur in the property and construction sector, I’ve spent over 25 years building and scaling businesses that sit at the intersection of intelligent design, sustainable development, and emerging technologies. I’m a qualified Engineer with an MSc in Intelligent Buildings, and my career spans technical consultancy, project management, M&A, and venture development. As well as Gravitas Property Group, I’ve founded, acquired and led multiple successful companies, including:
